This piece was composed for a concert of "Video Game Music." My mind immediately went to music being controlled by a video game controller. With this in mind, I set off on a mission to find meaningful controls and parameters to control music with an XBOX controller.
This piece was performed multiple times using different source material. The original performance used music from Koji Kondo's "Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island."
