"in image of" is a collective interpretation of Nico — Sphinx of Ice, a play by artist Werner Fritsch, presented as a dual projected multimedia installation by UGA students Kyle Morrison (MFA - Dramatic Media Production), Stewart Engart (MM - Music Composition), Elizabeth Rogers (MFA - ArtX), Hannah Fenster (MA - Comparative Literature), Anna Pieri (MFA - Theater and Film Studies), and Marlon Burnley (MFA - Theater and Film Studies). Fritsch's monologue examines the psyche of Nico — legendary singer of Velvet Underground, Warhol muse, fashion model, and girlfriend of Jim Morrison. The installation combines spoken word, animation, dance, and music.
