Like all my projects during 2020, this piece started full of hope and optimism, but through the process of writing the dread and anxiety caused by current events stomped out all other emotions.
The title of the piece comes from the main antagonist of Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco, a van that traveled the city rounding up dogs for animal testing.
